Best DHCP/DNS Virtual Appliance?

I am looking for something preferably open source that would specialize in DHCP/DNS and maybe IPAM.
I've used the Bluecat Adonis/Proteus products which I seem to have liked a reasonable amount, was thinking there is likely something similar.

Or if it's a giant PITA would you just suggest using the DNS and DHCP functions of Server 2k12R2 on my domain controller?

The pools would be pretty small as it's for home, but I also have a few vlans and a lot of crap running.

Thank ye.

In my opinion you're better off just running them on your domain controller - even if that does mean using Windoze. tongue.gif

Multiple Methods really work I guess.

For myself I run mine under my OpenWRT Router with /etc/ethers and /etc/hosts with MAC to IP Address assignments.

Windows Server would be bad as there is alot of control in Windows Server 2012.

Like suggested DHCPD under Linux wouldn't be bad either.

I've used all three, but if you really want a GUI Windows is to go. Otherwise if you like CLI Linux tongue.gif
