BenQ XL2720T 120Hz with lightboost OR BenQ XL2420TE 144Hz? - Page 2

The XL2720T and XL2420TE has pros/cons. The XL2720T is bigger and may have a slightly bigger contrast ratio range in LightBoost mode, but nobody has yet reported LightBoosted contrast ratios of the XL2420TE (yet). The XL2420TE may be the safer bet because you have the choice of turning ON/OFF LightBoost.

You get:
-- PWM-free dimming during non-LightBoost mode.
-- A wider dimming range with XL2420TE, which is useful if you dim the backlight
-- A very clean LightBoost image, if you enable LightBoost.

Does this mean LB enables PWM backlighting?
