Herp derp.

I wouldn´t buy a Razer mice, but, the Goliathus is quite good. At least, the Speed version feels soft (Not like silk or something, but...soft)
And, can´t complain, I even use them on the University even if it´s too big. Also, if it gets dirty I just use a dry cloth or something.

was thinking about getting a cm storm Control-RX pad. Anyone try a zowie mouse with it?

I've had good experience with cm storm pads in the past, looks like a promising model, nice and big, soft, and thick. currently using a steel series Qck+ and its too thin, i can feel bumps in the desk, and it started unraveling less than 6 months from purchase. the control rx, seems thicker, comparable width, and have had good experience with cm pads lasting with quite a bit of heavy use. Just maybe 2 inches less tall, but really the Qck+ is kind of ridiculously tall.

To each his own.

Goliathus control works fine besides the issues I mentioned, so smaller pads than extended probably aren't worth it. More friction all around than Hien, not as easy to clean because of the textured weave, fairly durable. Can survive a gentle machine washing but don't put it in the dryer. Of course it's really ugly.

Haven't tested speed.

Where does one order Artisans other than their official website?

I am located in Singapore.

Never mind, I ordered a couple of red Hien VEs from their official website.

Once I get this e-mail: "Your order has been received - ARTISAN‏", I should be set, right? They don't seem to have a link or page for me to check my orders..

Usually, companies send you another email when it's dispatched. Then if you are lucky, a tracking number.
