So, now that idea may go (for annoying reasons, delivery) I need a backup plan in case it doesn't turn up.
Pitted two processors against each other and can't really decide. The I5-3350P is a mere £131.52 and the beasty I5-3570K is £155.
That's a huge price difference, but I need it to excel and be much better than my AMD Phenom II X6 / FX-6300.
I am not sure if my board will be OK with overclocking, but reviews suggest it can top at 4.5Ghz with a push. I wasn't originally going to overclock.
Anyway, here's the dilemma, do I buy the non-k and up the max turbo boost (3.7Ghz is the max I think) or spend the extra wad and overclock the I5-3570K to 4.0Ghz (I won't be going any higher, heat, power and well my board concerns).
Bare in mind in the future I probably will be looking out for an I7-3770 when they fall in price.
So what's best really? Max turbo boost speed on the I5-3350P or higher static consistent overclock of 4.0Ghz but on the much more expensive I5-3570K?
