PCI-e Slot came out, bent the pins in the process (REALLY MAD)

Thread Starter
Yeah so I pulled out my 1st GPU from my SLi setup.... AND THE HOLE SLOT CAME OUT. The pins are bent and not repairable, I'm pissed right off. Anyways I now have to get a new motherboard to run SLi setup. Please Recommend me a decent (200$ price) motherboard that is a replacement to my Gigabyte Z77-U5DH.

Can only pick up from NCIX.ca (Vancouver/Burnaby stores) so use this website to link me

Do you overclock? Also are there any features that you have on your board now that you would like on the new one?
Sorry for the lost!

It's a little bit over 200$ but it's a solid board. There is aloso a Mpower Owners Club here you can check it first.

Yes please!

I bought a watercooling setup today to push it farther. I need some that replaces my Gigabyte z77-ud5h that's on pair or even better results for overclocking.

Thank you

P.S: SO mad right now. I pressed the tab to release the card from the slot, went to pull the card out with little force and the hole slot just came off (plastic part), which bent the pins in the process. I can't use the motherboard because I'm unsure if the pins are touching creating a short out, and also another 200+ for a motherboard. Just please recommend a motherboard that won't do this to me frown.gif

Also needs to be SLi ready. I'm running 2x 660Ti. If that MSI you linked supported SLi than perfect. If not please link me one that will

LIke this?

You can cut or bend the pins til they snap off and use the second slot temporary.

Edit: Yes the mpower support SLI.

thats what it looked like but half of the pins bent to the point where I can't repair it to the original state. I could break them all off and use the second slot but honestly man, after having that happen I don't want to touch my system until I get the motherboard replaced. Everytime I look at the motherboard I internally get more pissed off of what happened, so it's best to wait. Save myself the anger and headache

after the pins were bent. I thought I could fix it by making it a 8x. Since few pins on left were already damaged and some in the middle it was already to late. frown.gif
