Hey guys,

Been running Surround for quite some time, although recently my one monitor has now bit the dust.

I am looking for a replacement for all three, and came across this.

LG 29" Class IPS Panel LED Monitor - 2560 x 1080, 21:9, 5000000:1 Dynamic, 1000:1 Native, 5ms, HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D (29EA93-P)

Now, I was thinking of the idea of this when I started searching for new monitors, I remember on engadget seeing a curved monitor the same style

Now, I am seriously considering the LG Monitor, although few questions.

Will it give the same effect as surround being just one monitor? As in, your left view and right view will pretty much be on the edges of the monitor, or will this monitor only act as "one monitor" and therefor will need three of these things to replicate surround.

Thanks for your time.
Cheers,
