Lol hate Sammy much?
Look away from screen to pause works great when I'm watching a video and some one walks in and wants to talk to me... I simply advert my attention to them and don't have to fumble around with my phone.
As far as gestures/ir... ever had some dirty hands and want to do something on your phone? When I walk out on the shop floor at work and have to check something out, my phone gets set down, and if I get my hands all greasy I'm still able to look something up on the Web or make a call without getting my screen all greasy or having to stop to wash up every few seconds...
Just because you don't have a use for something or cannot figure out how to apply tools to your life to make things easier on yourself doesn't make something a gimmick...
That said, I'm thinking hard to try to find a use for any of these curved phones unless I suddenly want to develop a fetish that includes shattering phones on my butt when I sit down...Edited by Jesse D - 10/15/13 at 4:00pm
