Help choosing additional memory

Thread Starter
I currently have 4GB of ram and am looking to upgrade given the increased number of games that are calling for 6-8GB. Is another 4GB of the same sticks my best bet, or are there are cheaper or better option out there? Should I upgrade to totally new sticks? Thanks.

Sticking with the same type and same specifications in terms of ram is always the safest. Just be careful that you make sure the mobo supports whatever RAM you decide to go with. I run 8GB and it works more than well enough for me. Maybe get another of that set?
