Canada might force cable providers to unbundle TV channels

I'm waiting to see if this turns out well, probably won't though, probably will turn out with $10 per channel, and $20 for premium ones at that.

As it is, overbooking flights isn't exactly a problem, it's something done to insure full flights because of last minute cancellations and such, and because flying is pretty expensive and best done full. As long as they offer good deals to those who miss a flight due to overbooking, I don't mind it (I mean 50% off the next flight or more).

I have a feeling this will be heavily inflated prices on single channels to force bundles anyways.

would be nice, let them keep there tiers and have each tier be x amount of channels of the purchasers choosing. Would be ideal considering the all the channels we want are mixed in with other nonsense none of us are ever going to watch.

If they do it right, this would be nice. There is a reason I stick to netflix now.
Now we need to focus on the horrible cellphone plans and the archaic internet.

I'm pretty sure they'd argue buying a single channel costs more blah blah and at the end of the day they won't make any less money. Unless the regulation works to limit unbundled prices.
