seeing how both the Razer Kraken Pro and SteelSerries Siberia V2 are both priced around $80 and wired with a mic im sure they should perform about the same or a tad better then the Playstion Gold.
I highly recommend putting as much as possible into your headset budget as you will be using it hopefully for a long time
Well I used to have Logitech G35 from 2009 since last year when they finally broke. I got to say I loved that headset and all the features of it. Would buy another one like that since they are rather cheap now but the problem is that its not gonna be 7.1 on PS4.
I checked Astro A40, from reviews I have seen they seem to be one of the best headsets in market but the price is crazy expensive in UK. And does the surround sound work for it on PS4?
Is there something really good between SteelSerries 80$ price point and A40?

There is a sale on BF4 in PS4, maybe the premium also has a sale. Check it out
Also guys How are you dusting off your PS4s?
Yeah, I saw the sale but the premium is still 39.99£ good thing is that I have like 15£ in GAME points and so can get it at GAME for half the price
I usually just use microfiber cloth to clean it. Once used those home cleaning wipes now there are staines on the shiny plastic so I wound't advise that.

Best directional accurecy you can get along with a pair of cans that produce a nice clean crisp soundstage.
The Antlion Modmic is THE best small microphone there is, their dedication to finding the perfect microphone is almost on the brink of insanity, their webpage is truly evidence.
I would never, personally, buy a headset - a pair of QUALITY cans will last you YEARS and are made for one thing only, giving you an experience within the realm of sound :-)
How would you connect separate mic and cans to ps4 since there is only one connector on DS4? Are you using adapter for that?
Found that on astrogaming.co.uk for 136.50£ are they really worth that much money and how good the 7.1 work since they say Astro A40 PC headset?Edited by Trito - 4/18/14 at 4:01am
