Won 3 games in a row with Zanetta being the only support, its a great hero - its just seriously in need of tweaking. Not much of a hero if it takes a bullet to the knee and dies...

What they need to do is redesign SO many of the skills because a lot of them require no skill to use and have little to no way to counter. Such as that dragon ultimate that goes through EVERY object which is SO stupid. skills like that Reinhardt Charge and his CC skill have nothing you can do. No way to escape them or anything. Like when CC'ed you should be able to press a button quickly to get out of it so you at least have a CHANCE to live. Heroes like Mei auto attack freexing you in place is nothing skillful. Its cheap and bad design. Same for her ultimate. They really need to add ways to counter this CC. Being slowed to the point you cant move is DREADFUL design. Her auto attack even if its short/medium range should NOT slow down or freeze enemies due to the fact its still VERY good damage.

Too many of the kills are down to the skill of the hero rather than the skill of the player. The balance is all over the place at times.

The balance between Heroes is pretty bad. For example - Lucio > Zanetta in EVERY aspect. All Zanetta really has is the increased damage orb but that is WAY out done by Passive AoE healing that can be further buffed up and AoE Mobility increase, again which can be buffed. It has better movement and mobility. The ultimate is debatable, could go either way depending on situation but in every other aspect - Lucio wins.

Torbjorn turrets need a set duration and a big damage reduction. Genji ultimate should NOT go through all objects. Its a huge skill that 1 shots most characters. It shouldnt go through objects as well. Widowmaker and Hanzo need their bow damage reduced getting 1 shot to a shot to the leg is not skilled gameplay.

theres just so many design and "skill" based decisions that remove actual skill due to how strong abilities are.

I believe Blizz is taking a look at Zenyatta. They didnt say much more than that though.

Yeah Zanetta really needs work. I hate how other non support classes actually have self healing and the character with like the lowest health in the game, no big damage still doesnt get it.

I am going to get the Deluxe Edition, comes with the FF15 animated film as well remember.

Zen, to me, seems like a hybrid hero where you can give buffs, but you need to stay at the back of the action. Maybe give him more than 1 orb to toss at a time or increase the heal speed. He's more of a long range attacker, than team healer. Absolutely has no mobility so he needs to stay in the back. i've been killed by him more than i care to admit. You get hit with 1 discord orb and followed by 2 shots, then youre dead.

Yeah, i think having access to 1 damage orb and 1 heal orb just isnt enough when the likes of Lucio has AoE speed buff or AoE healing that both can be buffed as well as a knock back. I think that the 5 charged orbs attack (L2) needs to be replaced, it takes too long to charge them all and they still hardly do any damage. What i would do:

L1 = Damage orb
L2 = Orb that follows target of Damage orb

R1 = Heal orb
R2 = Orb that follows and heals orb target

If you dont have anyone selected with the damage orb or the heal orb then the R2 becomes a general healing shot, where you fire at your allies to heal them, the L2 becomes your basic damage attack for enemies

I'd say hes more of a long range support rather than attacker, its just that he doesnt offer very much support outside 1 orb and remember his ultimate is melee based which doesnt help is ranged attacker/support idea. You only die to 2 shots if you are certain heroes. The difference being most of them have self healing and/or ways to avoid taking damage anyway

Maybe it should be that You have access to 5 orbs that recharge 1 every 10seconds or something and you can put all 5 on allies or all 5 on enemies or mix and match for your playstyle or something. It defo needs work as a character. Hes not really that great a long range attacker you would be better off going with someone who is designed for that, rather than one who is meant to be support but cant really support very well.

Lots of good opinions im hearing. I tried lucio a few times but i just dont get the appeal. Perhaps its my keymander but i feel like i offer little to the team when i play that toon so i end up leaving it for other team mates.

My toon choices are based on how the game progresses. I love support roles and have no problem taking mercy or the big shield guy. I know i wont get kills but i find we win more when i play those two. When we get pinned i pull out junkrat or that turrent guy, they allow me to lay down suppression fire and i can run up another route to help clear a choke point. if my team is all a bunchbof tards i grab widowmaker cause at that point im in a room full of gready selfcentered culls and why not pad my stats a bit, its not like they are teamplayers anyways. Bastion is the everything toon. A sniper, a cannon, selfhealer and can lay the smack down in any situation .... I love bastion, always makes me feel good about myself. Your team sucks pick a corner and own everything in your line if sight. From behind the big guys shield the two are unstoppable if you play with a wall to you back.

Ive taken a new toon under my wing, the transporter lady. I hate her weapons but allowing quick return to the front lines .... Priceless. Still, ive watched the "tards" still run all the way, stop and look at me and my teleporter, shrug then die and run the whole way again.

Anyone try Neon Chrome yet? There's a demo on PSN. I like the concept a lot (loot-based, procedurally-generated, twin-stick shooter), but the aiming is notchy and terrible. Any other relatively recent, loot-based shooters like this?
