Thread Starter
I want to over c. I am using auto tune to get 200mhz out of it which is fine. I would like to get a manual Setting so its a little more solid. I need help because whenever I modify the core speed the v core wattage needs to go up a more then expected, I am using a asrock extreme 3 mainboard with a AMD fx-8350.

What I am asking
1. Good speed for stock fan?
2.V core watts(approx.)
3.do I need to up the front side bus @all

Thanks In advance also will Provide +rep for just about anything tongue.gif

Thats about as far as the stock cooler will take you on an 8 threaded load. The motherboard ( i have the 990fx extreme 3) is 4+1 power phase so it's gonna be a little dangerous to go much over 4.5 ghz with it at any rate.

I've taken 2 8 core chips to 5 ghz plus on the stock cooler, but any load at all would be suicidal for the cpu. Look at the validations in my sig smile.gif
