FINAL UPDATE OCT-27-2013.

Here it is.. DARK ARMOR!

The point of this build was to mod my fist case & build a system that is clean with as little wiring/cable showing as possible.. I think I did okay!?

It's kind of hard to even see the backplates.. but that's okay, I knew they were going to be like they are from the start, they still look cool though! lol

Thanks for watching.. Enjoy!
Later, Phil B.

Sorry, from the sticker orientation on the heatsink it looks like it was mounted upside-down.

Excellent job. Where did you find the backplate without a logo on it. I have 2 660 Tis and the only backplates I can find have EVGA engraved in them. I keep saying I am going to build my own. I have the Aluminum plate and everything needed to cut and polish them, but haven't yet. It is about like turning my desk into a case. On the upside, I do have the building material to build myself a workshop and several tables(topped with padded pool table slate). So once I am done there, I might actually do it. I have never turned a desk into a case, but I do work in a body shop and have done a lot of custom hot rods/classic cars, so the tools and material's won't be a problem. It is just finding the time to actually do it.
