I've been a long time lurker on OCN for about two years now and I've decided to actually start being an active participant in the community here. There are so many great builds and people here to learn from. It's time I start to give back and show off a bit of my own work too.
This build will be my second computer I've ever built and I wanted something a bit more challenging for this build. I fell in love with the Prodigy case after it had launched. It had this special element to it that really hooked me. I think I can safely say, a lot of other Prodigy owners know this feeling. However, it was a mini-ITX case which meant I'd have to build small and compact. I also wanted this build to be my main gaming computer, so it had to have some real beefy parts. Here in lies the challenge.
Duplicity : the state or quality of having two elements or parts; being two fold or double.
I decided on the term because I figured that my build would have a split appearance to it. (...or so I'm working towards achieving) The Prodigy's outside is to look sleek, ordered, and homogenous. The exterior will be almost completely left untouched. The interior is where the *magic* happens. The interior holds the guts and all their glory. It is to be presented in such a way so that it's *magic* shines through. This is where the major portion of any modding will be done.
In conclusion, this Prodigy will seem to be just an ordinary small form factor PC. Although, on closer examination, it's a little juggernaut.
