You figure AMD is just waiting to see the Nvidia price cuts before they release/price their 290s? I do.

Also running 2x titans in BF4 makes my face lag as much as that game stutters. My single 7970 runs that game at a lower frame but much more fluid.

Do I plan to upgrade after the 290x for 10-20 % ? Only If I can't play my games properly.

Ok this worries me I was just about to grab a 2nd Titan (new) for 749$ Mainly to join up in BF4, is it a driver issue or? What driver version were you running?

Also curious about upcoming black friday sales.

331.40 Driver.

It's just a driver issue, lots of frame latency. This might be fixed at a later date, but I want to play the game at launch with no issues.

From HardOCP

"After logging hours of play time in Battlefield 4 Beta using both the Radeon R9 280X and GeForce GTX 770, the AMD Radeon R9 280X appears to deliver a far superior gaming experience compared to the NVIDIA GeForce 770 GTX no matter what the framerate graphs show. "

If this thing is actually faster than a titan when both are overclocked, I will be OK with a extremely high launch price of 849+. If this is worse than the titan when both are overclocked to the max, not too interested.

Titan does not have a price that reflects its technological value. It's a luxury product (with an awesome name) and gets a price increase to reflect that luxury. If you want to see where the GK110 chip could (approximately) drop in price at the point of release look at 780.

Of course, that doesn't prevent AMD from doing at least partially the same with the 290X and leaving 290 the 'reasonably priced' one.

Well, in that case, im on the fence of upgrading or doubling up my 7970. My biggest issue with AMD is eyefinity drivers, and idk what problems crossfire will bring.
