Is it good to use Ai Booster to oc?
I bought the p5n32-e sli board to see if it will clock better than my old D975xbx.
Using AiBooster with p5n32-e sli the max clock I can get is 2844Mhz.
Temp. 51c idle.
Mem. 2.1v
CPU 1.650v

My old D975xbx I max out at 3217Mhz idle temp. 37-38c

My memory OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 / 667Mhz

I'm pretty sure the Ai booster only gives a certain percentage of an allround system increase...not much...maybe like 10-15% I think...so manual is the way to go

51C idle using which temp monitor?

whichever program you are using for temps they are far too high.

are you using stock cooler or aftermarket?

The AI Booster is a nice utility if one is new to overclocking. It can be used to experiment with mild Overclocks, and done so in a Windows enviornment thereby relieving one of having to continually restart.

Once one is comfortable and has feel a for the numbers and the significance that they have on one-another try, the BIOS.

The BIOS is far better for OC'ing. The only way to really get things rolling.

Good Luck!
