[tieba] XFX Radeon R9 290X Battlefield 4 Edition unbox photos and 3D mark results FROM China - Page 4

Provantage.com has a Sapphire 290x listed for $570 USD and a GB for $700. My guess, 290 (non-X) $550-599 and 290X $659-699 (non bundle).

Seeing Provantage's prices is a bit of a tease. Here's to hoping they're kinda reliable. I honestly couldn't see a store putting a placeholder price LOWER than what it will debut at, especially if they actually got anyone to pre-order. They'd have a swarm of pissed off customers if and when they decided to jack up the price on the placed pre-orders.

I think 480s used to get that hot.

yep no way this card could have any faults at all even though the coolers are known to run hot.

I have seen cards run around 98-100C, when the ambient temps are around 30-33C
