Good Soundcard

Hello, i'm looking to buy a decent soundcard to plug in headphones like the Ultrasone, Beats by Dre, Sennheiser HD25 ii's and my studio monitors

I was having a look at the Sound Blaster ZxR, i kinda like the controller and the fact that it has many inputs, what you think?

Oh, i should also mention that i just ordered a subwoofer (M-Audio SBX10), so i really need a good soundcard now smile.gif

My monitors are the Alesis M1 MKII Active...any ideas if the Xonar STX or the ZxR gonna be enough to get a decent quality from my system?

You aren't going to see any major sound quality differences between a $50 DAC or sound card and an expensive one. If you go with an audio interface you'd be able to use balanced monitor outputs that most powered studio monitors have. Sometimes connecting them via RCA causes a hum or other issues that are often solved with a balanced connection. Something like a Focusrite 2i2/2i4 or Creative EMU0404
