edit: final explanation, its just a dead end with you fella.

If a 290X is outputting 100% and a 7990 is outputting 210%, the difference (as in subtraction) is 210% - 100% = +110%. Meaning a 7990 is 110% better in this benchmark vs a 290X. Simple math.
I am good with math except a 7990 bring better than a 290x make zero sense. ZERO. it means means even if the 290x had 100% scaling and CF it, it would be worse than a 7990. That's what I am saying.

Good call on the Xbox One and PS4. I didn't really think of that.

I'm in no rush to jump to new cards as what I play currently runs great on the cards I've got. I'm just really surprised that they're basically just re-brands. From my understanding their price to performance is better as is their power consumption so... there's always that.

On a side note: Does anyone find it odd that for many, many years the only two major GPU manufacturers have basically been releasing the same cards against each other? Anyone notice that not only do big jumps just not happen anymore but the jumps from one nVidia generation to the next is almost exactly the same when AMD releases their next generation. How is that two different companies producing two different architectures can release cards that are so close to not only each other but their delta from their previous respective generations is also the same. It seems quite weird to me.

Typos are what happen when you type the wrong letter/number once. When you repeat those sequences its no longer a typo. I guess we better find some graphs to go with the percentages you don't understand.

As far as the letter... love the whole red team crap right up front. Sad thing is some fan boys will probably hang it on their wall. (Either way so not worth the extra cash for the bundle IMHO)

i hung one of the evga posters on my wall to cover up a massive hole lol, i am an evga fanboy though so it doesnt bother me. <3evga.

i however would not ever hang a "amd red team" or "nvidia green team" poster *signed* by their mascot ever though. mostly because thats lame and taking sides to fanboy for is lame, and because it probably wouldnt be big enough to cover the hole tongue.gif
