[Corsair] Corsair Unveils Graphite Series 230T PC Mid-Tower Case in Three Colors - Page 7

I'm really warming to the design of this case. I wasn't quite sure at first. But the more I look at it, the more it reminds me of my old Antec 900, that I changed to have red fans instead of blue. I personally don't need a case right now, but if I did and wasn't obsessed with brushed aluminium and Lian-Li cases, I'd probably go for this, really nice price point too.

Also, CorsairGeorge, your answers are so precise, no wonder you're their representative. Good job, very level headed, really enjoy reading your comments!

Also, still loving my 650D, and not quite sure why you guys decided to remove the brushed aluminium all the way around the facade and replace it with plastic? I had a look at it in Scan Warehouse UK, I really do prefer the look of the 650D aside from the side window. If I could have a side window like that on my 650D I'd buy one right now. You don't happen to have one do you? Or a means to be able to modify my own? Anyway, as you say, each to their own. But plastic is a no-no for me, especially on a £140 case.

Kinda back tracking here, but when you were talking about the cooling and how it wouldn't be able to fit large coolers. Is it possible to fit a Corsair H100i in the top area? Is it possible to squeeze it in anywhere in this case?

Personally I really like this case, I don't mind it being a flamboyant colour and I praise Corsair for jumping into the deep end with this one, you have to give them credit for also including more reservative colours for those that don't want a mind blowing Orange. This said, I would like to see some grommets for cable management, they do add a degree of "tidiness".

I did a lot of research and measuring and it looks like the only way to get a 240 radiator with fans is to mount the fans outside the case on top: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/11/06/corsair_graphite_series_230t_compact_midtower_review/5
It would conflict with the ram with fans on the inside.

I bought the version with red fans, and just bought a bunch of red fans for everything but the bottom. I am very pleased with it. I still have yet to upgrade my cooler...anyways. Here's a crappy picture from my phone!

Hi, i currently have an HAF X case with i72700K and was planing to sell it and get instead a Corsair 230T (with a 4770K and my current GTX780). Since i don't use SLI AND ONLY SDD i don't need such a big case and have to say am a bit fed up with the case noise together with my dual fan H80.

I hope the 230T would be quieter even if i use a H80i .....

What do you think ?

Thanks,
Greg
