I'm building a home theatre PC for my mom. I hooked two of the case fans to the molex plugs of the PSU, but I noticed that at the end of one molex chain there is a 4pin female plug that fits in the case fan socke on the mobo. The PSU is antec earth watts 430w. Is that the right place for it? It only fits with 1 side. Don't want to mess anything up

Floppy connector I think. If it's on the end of a bunch of molex's , chances are it's not a fan header. Let me have a quick check and I'll get back to you.

Edit : Yep it is, don't connect that to a fan header !

Don't plug that into the 4-pin header. That floppy connector is only used to power some legacy devices and some weird peripherals like sounds cards.
