very creepy problem windows 8 pro - Page 2

It could be your speakers are going bad and are picking up stray signals check all the connections to make sure the wires aren't coming apart or something. I used to have a pair of speakers that constantly would play some Spanish radio station.

The speakers are fairly new. While it was happening I unplugged them from the computer and the sound stop and then plugged them back in and the sound resumed. IF it does it again though, I'm going to try a different set of speakers, just to rule it out and see what happens

Sometimes speakers somehow pick up radio signals. Don't ask how, but it has happened to me a lot of times hmmsmiley02.gif

This^

You may need to shield your speaker wire better. Normally just shortening the length and making sure they are not coiled up helps. This definitely sounds like an interference problem.

Indeed, i have the logitech x-530 5.1 set. It's a known issue with that set. When the volume is set very low on the logitech set it picks up some kind of radio signals. Where I live right now it doesn't happen anymore, but in another house/city were I lived it did that constantly, I had some german radio channel on it. But that was solved easy, don't turn down the volume on the set itself, just use volume controle of windows (and other programs).
