AMD- OpenCL hardware acceleration

Nvidia- Cuda Core acceleration

Video Editing programs like Vegas Pro and Adobe Premier Pro make use of the CUDA acceleration and help reduce the render time. This helps to reduce the load on CPU. OpenCL is currently not supported by a majority of programs.

Yes, but i was planning on rendering on my graphics card in real time, or in about 30 minutes with the new hardware. Right now i render in 1-2 hours so i wont mind the 30 minutes, ill just watch YouTube biggrin.gif

I will be rendering about once a week in the school year and about twice or three times a week in the summer, and i will be rendering in 1080p(Possibly 1440p) in 20 minute segments on non-special occasions

I also make thumbnails in Photoshop CS6 Extended for my videos.

Once a week? Well then go for the AMD cards since you are not going to be a heavy video editor

This is why i am grabbing the 270x, i dont NEED to play on Ultra, And I LOVE ELRIC! God i want his dog. Im also grabbing a blue Yeti, Pop filter, and a swivel stand for commentating purposes... because my current mic sucks tongue.gif
