are the feet on the deathadder 3.5g really as bad as people say they are ? do they sell better mouse feet specially made for the deathadder ? and if so what are the called ? i have extra mouse feet that came with my zowie ec1 evo will those mouse feet work on the deathadder ? and before replacing the feet on the deathadder do i remove the old ones ?

They're just a bit too thin and can wear down pretty quick on hard mats or the mouse gets caught up if there are little ruts or crumbs on the mouse pad. You can always order some Hyperglides or Corepads made specifically for the Deathadder.

Right now I just put some teflon tape on top of the stock pads on my Deathadder 2013 and it works well provided I there are no edges sticking out that can bend and get caught on the pad or collect dust.

I did not like them when I had it, but replacing the mouse feet with something better would fix that easily. Just make sure you don't pick the wrong replacement feet like this poor fellow: http://www.overclock.net/t/974790/live-journal-hyperglides-are-too-expensive-check-out-puretraks-perfectglides

There are a lot of teflon feet for all kind of mouse, I can find them really easy here, but it seems like a bit harder for you, maybe. I stacked new teflon feet (which is 1mm thick) over the stock feet, and it's realy nice. At first, you could find it raises ur mouse a bit, so you can even feel the edge of the mouse, but this feeling will go away very soon.
