I recently got about $200 settling a dispute with a seller. I plan to put most of it towards parts for the rig, including water cooling parts.
I also got my metal sheets, they're just waiting to be cut now.
The anodized sheet for the side panel isn't exactly what I was expecting texture wise. It looks like brushed aluminum but I was expecting more of a grainy-looking texture with a soft diffuse reflection, like the kind you find on cookware.
Yeah I'm picky but It would look slightly off next to the painted handles
Instead I will use it for the fixtures inside of the case.
So I can do either one of two things- get a Mac Pro / G5 door which I'm sure will have the texture I want, or go with a mirror glass panel on both sides. What do you think? I think the mirror will look nicer.Edited by ccRicers - 11/22/13 at 6:15pm
