Zotac GeForce GTX 780 AMP! Edition, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI,

ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5, GeForce GTX 780, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI,

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX Cooler Dual Bios, 3GB GDDR5

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 FTW ACX Cooler Dual BIOS, 3GB GDDR5

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked ACX Cooler, 3GB GDDR5

EVGA GTX780 3072MB,PCI-E,2xDVI,DP,HDMI

Gainward GTX 780 Phantom GLH, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DP

Gigabyte GTX780 N780OC-3GD 3072MB,PCI-E,2xDVI,DP,HDMI

MSI N780-3GD5, GeForce GTX 780, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI,

MSI N780 TF 3GD5/OC Twin Frozr Gaming, GeForce GTX 780, 3GB

PNY GeForce GTX 780 XLR8 OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0

Zotac GeForce GTX 780 + Game-Bundle, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI,

Zotac GeForce GTX 780, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort

The reason i'm linking these specific cards is because this is from a shop nearby, and should anything go wrong, i would prefer being able to send it in from there, since it's just that much easier then sending a card on a journey. i've been really eyeing the ichil 780 gtx as well, this one is also a possibility.

However, when it comes to overclocking which one is the most suitable?

I am not sure just yet if i should make the move and buy the card, my gut feeling is telling me that i should wait and for the 290x first. Which one of these cards most closely resemble the titan in the list?

Personally i'm most interested in the Zotac AMP edition and the ichill, but since i've not had an nvidia card for a while i'll let you guys be the boss. :-)

p.s: yes i'm interested in overclocking - but on air.

Is SLI in your future or just a single card? For multi-card setups, you might consider a reference design...

I've not taken that into consideration, but i've got to admit, all i heard is trouble so far on sli / xfire setups (of which i heard more problems on xfire, haha!). Is sli MUCH more stable than what i'm used to hearing of on AMD or is also rather something that's not for everyone? Otherwise i believe i want to stick to a single card.

If youre going to be overclocking them and not running them at whatever clocks they come out of the box with, all should be relatively the same.

If youre going with one card i would go with a

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 FTW ACX Cooler Dual BIOS, 3GB GDDR5

two or more cards

EVGA GTX780 3072MB,PCI-E,2xDVI,DP,HDMI

reference design so they stay cooler in SLI.

EVGA because...its evga biggrin.gif

Guys! I've got one last question, what's a realistic overclock for the 780 GTX? I've heard 1100/1200, is this true? Are there any benchmarks that show this card overclocked at 1100~1200?

Also, this is all to be done on air.

1200 or so is possible on air pretty frequently from what ive seen.

at 1200 core clock, it comes in i believe 5 to 10% above a stock titan, so look at whatever titan reviews/benchs you can find, then add another 5 10 or maybe even 15% depending on how good your card clocks thumb.gif

In all honesty, 290x is in consideration, however, i really am totally neutral when it comes to amd and nvidia, and somehow i feel like trying a nvidia card again. But i'll wait and see what they have to offer on 1080p gaming and price / performance.

Just thought I would check out a few informations prior the release.
