Another one to add to the list. But how is this for gaming, does it have low input lag and can it be overclocked to 120hz?

Hmm, ok I'll have to seriously look into that as well, but I was hoping to get a 27" so that it would be good for watching movies / tv also. The ASUS might be a good compromise between the two.

Edit: Just had a thought while walking to work. I could get an X-Star 27" 1440p now, which would be using for casual PC gaming, console gaming, watching movies and tv, and general PC use. Then I could use my current monitor for competitive FPS gaming, and in the near future, get a BenQ XL2411T to replace the Samsung.

I'd end up with 2 monitors for different usage.

Sound like a plan? biggrin.gif

I have both the X-Star & BenQ. It is definitely great to have best of both worlds for their respective uses.

The X-Star is second-to-none when it comes to watching movies/TV, playing most games, and doing general work, but the BenQ is always my go-to if I am playing a really competitive game like CS:GO.

My X-Star definitely gets the majority of use these days. I'm sure your Samsung 120Hz will be good enough for now, especially if you're not a professional player in top level invite leagues thumb.gif.

FYI, the X-Star will not work with consoles I don't think, because it does not have a built in scaler. If you want compatibility with consoles you have to give up 120Hz capability I believe and go with something like the CrossOver BlackTune 2763AMG (link).

I would just plug your consoles into your Samsung.
