FTFY... I hate rebrands, granted they do have faster memory, but both the R series and 700 series are such a disappointment, we should have all sat on our hands and told them we don't want rebrands after a year a half.

Once the 280X hits 250 it will be a great card for the money

Nvidia won't lose much money.

Too many die-hard Nvidia fans out there.

Yesterday a friend asks me whats the besy card for around $100.

He had GT640 @$70 in mind

I said 7750 @$65 after rebate.

He said thanks but hd rather stick with nvidia.

I said 7750 is better than GT640 and cheaper.

He went for the GT640 instead.

We aren't friends anymore.

nVidia might be making new cards 750ti, 780i and titanium ultra and oh yeah this link says October 16th for the record :\ kookoo.gif

this article just says "what they could look"

it's pure speculation. 3dcenter always does that. making up speccs of a fictional card and measure what performance it could have based on what they just made up. They don't do it in bad way, but it's still just pure speculation and wishful thinking.

OP's title: Nvidia won't lower GeForce prices to compete with AMD Radeon R7/R9

Article's title: 'Nvidia doesn't need to lower prices to compete with new AMD R7/R9 cards'

Fixed title, and moved to rumors.

Stuff like this happens and OCN acts like people can only be bias towards Nvidia.

NVIDIA may have a bigger die, yet they have lower power consumption, AND lower temps. Stop buying into AMD's PR that claims their chips are more efficient. Considering AMD's die is smaller, they consume more power, run hotter, and NEED to be clocked higher.

We'll see when the MAX OC vs MAX OC results come in.

You're buying into a review with 1080P benches for a enthusiast card please get real.
Lower die size the 290X being on par clock for clock simple as that it is a architectural better chip any engineer can tell you that.

Some people can't handle the harsh truth that AMD made a higher perf/mm^2 chip even more efficient that the 780 if they cut it down to true size.
But sure if these things go for 550 euro or lower I'll get one and bench 4k UHD who ever wants to take me on with a non zombiemodded Titan be my guest.

Higher resolution, better multi card scaling and compute also buying into some crappy review you guys should know better I mean we all know how the Titan was benched being faster than a gtx690 by a large margin stock.
These might be just as fake or atleast poorly executed Guru3D will put out a decent review just wait and see.

I would pay a boatload for a Nvidia contral panel instead of CCC since CCC is so messy but for the rest this card seems to be a win.
