I'm getting déjà vu here. This happened a couple of years back - everyone hated Norton "oh, useless bloatware... average protection... harder to uninstall than a virus... blah blah blah" Then suddenly everyone was sweet on it, saying that it had completely turned around. Then I guess it slipped back into it's former reputation. It get's really confusing.
I'm trying to decide between Comodo internet security premium and avast+comodo firewall. I'm leaning towards the former, as I guess there will be less chances of conflicts.
These security softwares evolve so rapidly I don't think there's any point agonizing over which one is the absolute best. If I choose the best one now, no doubt it will have fallen out of favour in six months. I guess I just avoid the ones that are consistently hopeless, which now seems to include MSE unfortunately...
