Oh yes i did, just Comodo chose to ignore complains on the forums, and never actually completely polish a product, they just rush to get to new "tech" - version and implementations which silently disappear some months after, they never update, or push the new tech, just announce it, try to work around it like few months, and later on its gone. 90% of Comodo versions, are same like you are running beat. The protection works great, but the functionality is gone, period.

They didn't even whitelist Warcraft III with years, yes YEARS. They didn't whitelist Garena for years as well, buffer overflow attack, really? ROFL.

I would sacrifice some protection, and go with Norton like np, just to avoid that ****.

Really? They responded promptly whenever I complained in their forums.

What a joke. They didn't even compare Kaspersky.

Norton as number 1?? How much did they pay to win that?

I've seen norton brick Internet connections, allow the basic viruses to take hold, slow down PCs.

Like, it's literally the worst product you can use. It's like a condom with holes! Great protection, unless you know, you have to use it.

Just a terrible article. PC Mag is a joke.

Have KIS on my work had no problems (except in February a bad update kept users from accessing websites). I scan infected machines with it and find most viruses with help from Malwarebytes, Gmer, Roguekiller. Home I have Comodo IS Premium tweaked firewall with proactive defense (not for everybody). The worst suite I have tried is Mcafee it is just bloatware. And what’s the deal with Mcafee scanner why does it even exist? Every download from Adobe or other companies ask you to download it…

I know for work we deploy GFI Vipre to clients but...I am not a fan of Vipre at all. Never seems to actually catch anything an sometimes causes other issues, But when it works, it is lightweight and non-intrusive.

Well I am now running MSE and windows firewall because as I said, lightweight and not using up any bandwidth is most important to me. I went to sheilds up and it passed every test they have. Can't be too bad to pass all that, right ?

I know it sucks for scanning, but for that I have Malwarebytes and also use SUPERantispyware for scans.

The best AV solution is not even an anti-virus application by trade. I've never used AV on my units and do not plan on it anytime soon. I prefer to use a virtual machines. Virtualbox is great and FREE but VMware Workstation is my vm of choice. I perform all my browsing and software integrity checking in here. Things that don't require the interwebs on my host OS. The only caveat is that you must have a machine that can handle multiple OSes at once.
