I'm sorry that it angers you and makes you feel superior to me that I can afford to pay someone to build a PC for me. Sure I could have saved some money doing it myself but because of my income it was really nothing to have it built by a professional. Looking at your system specs it obvious you are very limited income wise and building your own was your only option. Hope things get better for you down the road.

I've seen you in other threads derailing it like this. If you build your own computer great. if someone else builds it for you, great. I would imagine it takes away from the fun factor which is why most of the patrons of this site do it, myself included...you're only desperate for attention if you feel the need to talk about it cross-irrelevant-thread...just ignore those trying to get you riled up. to each their own. and judging a book by its cover (or a person by their rigsig) is probably not worth the time. I made a very good living for myself, but would you bash me because i don't have an Intel Extreme processor, just my i5?

OT: so do we have someone established that will be there posting updates? I'd like to see if they do in fact show anything like GPU-z or benchmarks live like a press conference heh

Can we all stay on the subject of this AMD event I really hate to go through pages of off-topic discussion.

We have two events going on AMD and Nvidia each has their own thread for those interested. smile.gif

If AMD is running the r9 290x @ 4k, should we be expecting >60fps? If so, thats pretty bold and impressive! What time is it in Canada right now?

You can already push >60FPS @4K with a mildly overclocked 780/Titan. BioShock isn't a particularly taxing game.

If that was even remotely likely they would have demonstrated it against Titan.[/quot]
It's all a numbers game. The gap between the 780 looks more impressive than the gap between the Titan. 15-20% vs 5-10%

Should use Tomb Raider if they were really confident in their compute technologies and Gaming Evolved titles

- or Far Cry 3 tongue.gif

If it's OC'd a tad, it should easily hit over 60fps. A stock Titan can do 60fps and still have a good 10% performance overhead.
