My SLI 760s are hotter with a case fan?

Thread Starter
I added a fan to the side of my R4 to catch the heat chucked out by the windforce cooler, and now idle temps are up from 27 to 30, and take a lot longer than before to get to idle temps after load. Any ideas how this is possible?

Your side fan could be creating added air turbulence inside the case causing air to circulate a bit longer inside the case.
