Good news for later on then, afaik AMD isn't releasing a new Chipset in 2014 (correct if I'm wrong please) so I'll be staying with my Crosshair V Formula for awhile longer than i originally though.

AMD hasn't released any chipsets since the 990FX..... So yeah you currently have one of the best boards to be sitting on if you want AMD.

Personally I think Intel is the next step for anyone with an 8150 or 8350 and two cards.

IMO you'll be looking at a CPU bottleneck

I've stopped thinking about getting a 7990 now, only waiting for the 290 and 290x reviews to hit so i can compare them and pick.

is the FX-9370 a decent improvement for me? I admit i have read that much on them since i got my 8150 and i'm not too keen on changing my entire setup just for that.

I wouldnt even waste your money on a 9370. Get an 8320 and overclock it

Works for me, thats a $115 saving on my end that can go towards a better cooler for it.

If AMD doesn't improve their CPU line soon i might have to switch over to Intel

Might have to splash out for a 3rd Monitor for eyefinity now as well
