Yellow and Orange light Ethernet card

Hi !

I have some question about my Ethernet card..

It's a build in card from a Maximus VI Gene '' Republic of gamer''

Normally with my other PC the light on the card flashing green.. but not on this one.. It is normal ?

I saw no option on my bios to control the card.. just a Enable // Disable option

Does it work?
If it does it's probably not something you need to worry about.

Yeah that work but if i can have better performance i will do what i have to do haha tongue.gif

I share alot of file in my network so if i can have some thing more quick i want it .

This is what I found in your manual:

There are two lights. The one on the top according to your picture is the activity link LED, the one on the bottom is the speed LED.

Activity Link LED: Status Activity Link LED: Description Speed LED: Status Speed LED: Description
OFF No link OFF 10 Mbps connection
ORANGE Linked ORANGE 100 Mbps connection
BLINKING Data activity GREEN 1 Gbps connection

I thik i will have to upgrade my router soon haha

I've found that option .. but if i try the 1gbs connection i lost the router..



It's a good router but it's a old WRT54G v6.. arrowheadsmiley.png..

So... i think the problem is solved !
