router security

Is there any more i can do to increase security.

my Settings right now for my D-Link DIR-645

disabled uPNP
disabled WPS
SSID is not broadcasted
enabled WPA/WPA2 with password
enabled MAC filtering
changed routers default IP

using dhcp for auto assigning IP
router's firewall settings at default.

A lot of those don't really increase security at all. Also, it sounds like you're solely focused on wireless security when there are other aspects to take into consideration as well, such as endpoint, antivirus/malware, IDS/IPS and similar.

Just make sure your WPA2 password is long and random.

It doesn't look like your model is affected by the recent 'D-Link Backdoor' discovery but I'd be on the lookout for new firmware and have it updated to the most recent one.
