I hope if we see proper reviews the R9 290X will pull ahead, because the 780 is a good card, but it's not THAT great. If AMD can't proberly beat that I see why Nvidia won't lower prices
I haven't used boost in a long time, but I never experienced any throttling under stock settings. They almost always do these comparison in open benches, which means the 780 has little chance of throttling. Even @ the stock 30-40% fan speed. Once again, not enough information for me to draw a logical conclusion from this. Guess I will leave it to other people to draw illogical conclusions.
