What are you thoughts on Dragon Age: Inquisition?

I am a die hard fan of the Dragon Age series. I loved Dragon Age Origins and its expansion Awakening, I finished both games around 10 times!! . Dragon Age 2 was a very sad let down. Sure it was an okay game but it wasn't the Dragon Age game I know and love. I have watched the trailer and game play for Dragon Age Inquisition and so far I am very excited!! IT looks amazing! I'm happy to hear that companion custom armor is back. smile.gif

It looks like it's going to be either the best game or second best game ever, next to DA:O. They seem intent on surpassing DA:O, but that's a long shot considering how perfect it is. Still, scale will be much larger, there will be much more exploration, building and managing keeps sounds awesome (sort of like Awakening I assume, but to a much greater extent).

Bioware is still the leading force when it comes to character development and dynamic storytelling, even DA2 wasn't a letdown in this regard. My only worries for DA:I are the combat: will it be as tactical and strategic as DA:O? Will classes be as balanced, will spells and talents be as cool? They showed a little bit of combat, it looked like a tactical action game which isn't what I want. I just want DA:O's combat back, maybe expanded on slightly.

Yes Yes and YES!! I completely agree with you! DA:O was (and still is) the best game I have ever played smile.gif I hated the combat in DA:2, I was heartbroken when I used it. DA:O's combat was perfect. I cant wait to see what Bioware does with the exploration.
I hope that DA:I will also feature a love interest with Flameth wink.gif
Hahaha, but thank you for your reply! smile.gif

I really liked origins and even dragon age 2 was decent except for the fact that you never leave Kirkwall, which was a let down. Fall 2014 is way too long to wait.

Yeah good point, that really sucked. frown.gif But DA:I looks great. The demo looks like a mix between Skyrim, DR:O and Fable. Which is good for map exploration!! It should be a great game smile.gif
Thanks for your input BTW biggrin.gif

I'm not one for deep insight. I like to keep it short. That being said, I want the game now!!
