Its been a few days of me tinkering with this computer now. I think I may have permanently damaged the MOBO or the PSU.

I can't see how that would have happened unless your auto settings were actually "Click here to overvolt everything".

I suspect most likely there is some sort of fundamental silliness going on. When I get in a situation like this I often try to get a fresh set of eyes on things just to make sure I'm not overlooking something. (this happens alot with me) Have you tried the "reset to defaults" in the BIOS? Assuming there is one.

Perhaps some screen shots of the various bios pages and any overclocking software you got running... Just spitballing here.

You could try reseating the ram maybe? Same thing happened to me once, played around with the ram in it worked again.

If your ASUS is anything like a normal ASUS Z87 then the auto OC function won't go beyond 1.27v and at that volt you're not hurting either the CPU or mobo.

But that said I'm little confused what the problem is.. does the computer start but you're just not getting video signal or computer doesn't start at all.
