Prime95 good test in CPU heat?

Thread Starter
I noticed while I'm playing games with like music playing, windows up and other stuff my CPU never goes past about 56 degree on max load while usually around 52. When im running prime95 its usually 58 with the occasional jump to 62. Should i worry about it too much that prime95 says its that hot? I mean when I use it normally it doesnt run that hot so why matter right? Yet im new to OC and dont know to much about the heat of CPu chips

Well Prime95 is a number cruncher so will stress your CPU so more heat is expected. However 62 Is too warm for your CPU...You may wish too look into better cooling.

good stress test for dual cores, so you don't have to double prime
