lol well that would help. I used to have a W7 phone (samsung focus S) Great phone for the entire 2 years. By the end of the contract though I went with the SG4. I was blinded by those beautiful specs tongue.gif My experience has been "meh" at best. Sort of degrades with time.

but that's just me.

I wonder how this 20MP camera will compare. So far, I actually believe in their cameras. It's actually not just a marketing ploy to say "hey loook at our megapixels!" The pictures speak for themselves.

I agree with the cameras. Hard pressed to find a better pointer than the 1020. I'm hoping that the 20mp is a bigger sensor with bigger pixels for less noise. But I'm sure they will do 20mp justince none the less.

As BizzareRide mentioned above, I too am probably going to hold out for a 5" version of this phone. No leaks yet on the actual 920 replacement.

Yeah the spec comparison between the note 3 and the Nokia are nearly useless, as I will guarantee the Nokia will feel much smoother than the Note despite having 1 fewer GB of ram and slightly slower clocked CPU.

What I AM worried about, however, is the physical size of the Lumia.... the Note 3 doesn't feel nearly as big as it looks due to thin bezels and size, whereas the Nokia 920 felt absolutely MASSIVE due to major bezels and very thick body. Personally, if you are going to make a phone that big, I'd prefer the Note 3 route of making it as thin as possible because otherwise it just becomes way to cumbersome to use conveniently.

The Note 3 and the 1520 are almost identical in physical size.

My Note 3 experience so far this past week has been great. It's super responsive and very smooth for a Touch Wiz rom. The lock screen after a boot up is instantly ready to be unlocked. Before on my Note 2 or S 3, it would take a few seconds to respond or even lag. My day to day apps launch without a hitch.

Besides, how can you even compare the smoothness between the Note 3 and the 1520?

Anyways, this is a nice looking phone. If I was interested in the WP8 phones, I would definitely be getting this. Plus, more competition in the phablet market is good to push innovation.

When will Nokia make phones with thinner bezels? It really starts to matter in terms of ergonomics when you go above 4.5 inch for the screen. For example the 4.7inch moto x is a hell of a lot smaller then the 4.7 inch screen HTC one... the Moto X is in fact just slightly wider then iphone 5 lol.
