Name is name in sig. Mainly due to spending way to much for sad hardware. Can't complain to much though, it runs everything I've asked it to beautifully.

All of my linux boxes are named after Jedi Knights, my macs are named after sith (evil), my non gaming windows boxes are named after councilmembers/non-jedi (powerless), my network has SW planets/moons (ie Endor and the like) for the switches/access points, and the different network names are based on cities in Star Wars. My servers are also named after Jedi Knights but they are a mix of Windows Servers and Linux servers. My gaming rig is named "Yoda" because badass he is.

I assume you don't mean that painfully generic film which can only be summarised as the Smurfs meet Furn Gully? tongue.gif

In all seriousness though, I am familiar with the series smile.gif

Desktop is s0 which originally was system0, because I was too lazy to decide a good name at the time.
Primary laptop is tinfoilfortress because, well, it's a "tinfoil fortress", everything as securely as possible, only to boot the whole thing you need: bios boot password, HDD hardware password, filesystem decryption password, user login password, and homefolder decrypt password (yes, encryption inside encryption, because I can).
Secondary laptop is tinfoil because it's "tinfoiled" pretty much the same way as the primary laptop.
My homeserver is sillisalaatti because I wanted something totally random (sillisalaatti is Finnish and means 'herring salad').
My 2nd homeserver, which is actually a laptop, is siika because I wanted something that somehow matches up with my main homeserver (siika is Finnish and means 'whitefish').
My vps is hc because I call it a "hardcore server" because it sits behind a good network connection.
My phone is Solme because its a Galaxy S3, and three (3) is "kolme" in Finnish, so I just replaced the first letter of that with a S.

I might have forgotten some computer or other device though..

My media server is Lone Transmission, named after Feynman's work that predated his contributions to QED.
My desktop where I game and do Cad work on is named Fortress. It stores my main files, and I always considered it as the machine that is my fortress of solitude.
My Macbook is just Tsukai-MB15-01.

Off topic, but what do you do to secure it once you're logged in? Because that's when you're most likely to targeted (eg booby-trapped websites)
