listen ya'll. Being a fanboy is completely idiotic, you lock away any source valid reasoning inside your head when you do such a thing. You really think you're going to look at things objectively if you blindly lean towards one side or the other?
Seriously? I have to put up with the alienware hate all the time and now OH MY GOD AMD VS NVIDIA WAR
Jeezlaweeze, this is freaking pathetic.
You know what matters? ACTUAL NUMBERS, ACTUAL RESULTS. And no that freaking 3dmark11/Firestrike crap doesn't cut it, and neither does using a few games that were optimized one way or another for which ever card or what not.
Its about WHAT YOU NEED YOUR CARD TO DO. AMD beats Nvidia in high resolutions. Welp you like high res? then go with amd, AMD beats Nvidia in the price game, Want a cheaper card? AMD.
Nnvidia beats amd in the cooling and general gaming performance game. Nvidia destroys AMD in benching. And maybe these things go back and forth. Who gives a damn about "OMG THIS CARD IS FASTER HOLY CRAP GONNA WHIP OUT MY EPEEN ONA YA"
oh grow the hell up and cut it out. seriously. What are yall 12? Cmon.
Pick a card and a company that you trust and that fits your needs, And don't get pissed cause someone else didn't pick the same brand as you. and FOR FREAKIN REAL, stop jabbering out outrageous crap.
for petes sake.
I personally don't care either way. I'll be going with the flag ship card that offers what I want for the triple screen landscape gaming(4800x900), which ever card will potentially have a better overclocking ability from an aftermarket, that allows me to tune the card to my gaming resolution. That's what i'm looking for. The 780 Ti might be a good pick, but AMD cards seem to perform well at higher resolutions. Or at least that's what last gen was like.
I don't care, red team, green team, i just want a GPU that produces the performance i want on the display I have/run.
