If they come out with 6GB versions I'd gladly make the drive to search through your trash for some titans thumb.gif

Doesn't for me. Hit 2900MB out of 3GB with 780 Classifieds. Fully maxed out.

Any reason to think BF4 acts any differently than BF3, where it caches VRAM and allocates more than it really needs? This was covered pretty extensively in the 3GB vs 2GB debates last year.

3240x1920, so 1080P surround. You can't really expect 3GB to be enough for 1440P or 1600P surround anyways. That's kinda always been the Titan's job. Anything less and you'll be turning down the details.

Just got done Crysis 3 at 1440p and it was using 2.8gb. Doesn't leave a lot of room for texture packs if you only have 3gb of vram!

Not sure what debate you are referring too, but in all of my testing in BF3 I have never seen any pre-buffering of VRAM. The only time VRAM severely impacted me was exactly when it ran out, as in my video here with 2GB 680 4-Way SLI:

I'm just talking about the discussions surrounding the fact that on 7970s BF3 used more than 2GB of VRAM, and people were using that as a reason why 2GB cards were basically obsolete, even though performance didn't actually suffer when tested apples to apples with 2GB cards like you would expect if the game actually needed more than 2GB. Not your particular case, just the discussion in general.

it barely break's 2gb on 1080p on 100% maxed settings. Even on three monitors it barely get's to 3gb if I remember correctly. May have to re-install & derp around, I dont think iv'e actually played it since getting my titans. LOL!

Is it accepted that nv & amd both utilize memory the same? What I mean is, do they both consume the exact same amount in the same situations?
