MICROSOFT'S cunning plan to release a version of the Xbox 360, which is cheaper and more efficient, has hit a slight snag.
According to Techwhack.com, Vole wanted to jack a 65 nanometre chip under the bonnet of its console and replace the aging 90nm which is currently sitting there.

Such a chip would be cheaper to make and gobble up less power. This means that Vole could cut the price of its console still further and maintain its market share over the Wii and PS3 which entered the game last month.

haha.

they should just wait and move to 45nm and not waste time.

even 65nm is getting sort of dated
