Dedicated Physx Graphics card next to a Primary Ati Video Graphics card?

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
Hello =)

I found a couple of video's on youtube with talk about running a Dedicated Physx card next to a primary Video card.

And all of them talk about getting a older card for multiple reasons im not gonna bother with because i have a Physx card that just showed up and i dont know what to do with it untill now biggrin.gif

So if you want , and would be so kind to see my signature Desktop Pc for my specs.

Then i can tell u about the Nvidia card i want to add :3

The link for : Msi n250GTS Twin Frozr 1G
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N250GTS-Twin-Frozr-1G-OC.html

I dont know the first thing about Nvidia Graphics card so i cant even come to terms on its power compared to my Current and primary ati videocard.

My question with all this is simple, can u run that card as a dedicated Physx processing device or such to make it run (certain) Physx dedicated games ?

Thanks for reading biggrin.gif

Running a dedicated physics card next to a primary AMD card isn't officially supported. There are hacks and work-arounds, but all of them have problems. I would advise againts doing it, it isn't worth the trouble or the money.
