Get the upcoming releases card or wait for 20nm?

As per title. Really interested with 290x and the possibility of 780 dropping its prices. Currently only gaming on a 27" 1080p but looking at upgrading to 1440p. What are the advantages from the 20nm to the current gen? Not looking at multicard solution now. Thanks!

Hmmm, same here. I am looking to get an upgrade to my current 570, but the allure of another 570 in sli (as it will cost me half of what a new 660 will cost me) is tempting.

Then again, I kind of want to sell my 570 and rather get something in the 7 series...although price to performance ratio the AMD cards are a lot better value here in SA.

I know right!

I am waiting for the 780ti to be released as well as the R9 290X in the hope that it will drive the prices down a bit. I cannot fault my 570 as it is an awesome card but it is noisy at full tilt - I have redone the thermal paste which helped for a few degrees but it's still not enough.

I was looking at the MSI Global N760 Twin Frozr card, but they are mostly sold out here and for the price I can get a 7950 which, from what I've read, performs just that little bit better.
