So I need a new gpu today.... - Page 6

Haha, well, the card arrived today, and what did I find?
It didn't fit, it seemed to be exactly the same length as my previous card, quickly got the ruler out, and the pcb seems to be 266-8mm.

Yeah, so that's annoying.

Contacted the retailer, so hopefully I'll be able to get a refund or something, although I really can't be bothered with having to post it back etc ugh.

Still leaves me without a gpu for the LAN this weekend which the build is for, going to see what happens tomorrow morning, but I've had a quick look at this:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-670-oc-edition-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-965mhz-boost-1045mhz-cores-1344?ProductId=56014

Since it's on offer at £168, and is 242mm, so even if it's slightly longer it will easily fit, only issue being I can't find reviews etc, anyone know anything about the card/the cooler?

I need to order it today for delivery tomorrow, and it has to be shorter than 260mm which reduces the options, the 670 is a possibility.

I think I'm looking at a 670/760, not sure which (if any) AMD cards are short enough.

What case have you got? I was limited to what size graphics card I could put in mine, but I have got around that and also potentially increased airflow by just sawing my drive cage in half haha.
