Hi,

This is my 1st post ever here, and i am new to SLI , i currently own the MSI N660TI PE 2GD5/OC , And i wish to purchase another GTX 660ti card however i was unable to get a good deal on an identical card, and the closest that i found was the MSI N660TI-2GD5/OC or EVGA 660 TI OC , they all have the same RAM but different Core Clock and Boost Clock speed.

So my question is should i go ahead and purchase any GTX 660ti with 2GB ram and SLI the card with my MSI N660TI PE 2GD5/OC or do i really need to have the exact identical card.

This is the link for the card i currently own

Thanks..

Thanks for the quick respond , but can you please confirm that any two 660ti cards would work 100% together without the need of overclocking them separately with same specs ?

Not sure what you mean, but if your asking if a non overclocked 660ti will work with an overclocked one, then yes it will

Also what are the rest of your system specs

Generally, you would want to get another MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Power Edition 2GB so your clocks will be identical. You can SLI different brands and models of the exact same graphics card but they will both operate at the settings/clocks of the slowest of the two cards.
