Thread Starter
i have just installed my scythe infinity cooler and my idle temp is 36 and my load temp is 48 , this is with my e6300 overclocked to 2500mhz with the vcore at 1.24. could anyone tell me if these temps are right for this setup or are they too hot.

I don't think thats too hot at all.. of course my thought on it is.. if you keep it under 60c with full load, then life is happy

I would crank up the voltage on that puppy and stick it to 3ghz at least if you can

i put a 6400 in my work machine the other day and am running 3.2ghz at 42c idle (waiting on my tuniq) so i wouldn't sweat your temps much

Thats a little hot IMO. The Scythe is a good cooler, capable of much more.

You only have 1.24v but your load temp is upper 40's.....how much thermal paste did you use? And what case cooling do you have?
