Lightboost is possible with AMD with no 3D Vision set up any longer which means it's possible with Toasty X setup software.

ahh i see. but do you still need a nvidia card first ?? because i thought you needed to use the monitor with a nvidia card first to detect 3d, then you plug in the amd card??? or is this fixedd?

No Nvidia card first any longer a work around has been figured out with AMD or NVIDIA GPU .
